THE GENERAL DATA

Tank of the pump of the hydraulic booster

In cars of early release the tank is mounted located on the pump in a forward part of the engine, in later models the tank (it is specified by an arrow) is located separately from the pump on the left side.

In a steering with the hydraulic booster the liquid which level is required to be checked in due course is used.

Check of level of a liquid is carried out on the idle engine when forward wheels are in driving position on a straight line.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Wipe pure rags a tank and a tank stopper.

2. Turn out a stopper with built in probeом and check up liquid temperature, having concerned probeа.

3. Wrap a stopper, then again turn out and check up level on edge of a film of a liquid on probeе. Liquid level should be in the top part of the range designated Hot (if a liquid наоprobeь hot), or in the top part of range Cold (if a liquid наоprobeь cold). Fall of level of a liquid below the bottom mark for a corresponding thermal condition of a liquid is not supposed.

4. If necessary add a liquid in a tank mouth through a funnel.

5. Frequent доливка liquids are specified on подтекание in hydraulic booster hoses, in unions of hoses, in the hydraulic booster pump, and also in the steering mechanism, by necessity of careful check and malfunction elimination.
