2.29. Check and adjustment of backlashes of valves
THE GENERAL DATA
The prevention

The manufacturer recommends to regulate valves only in case of the raised noise from клапанного the mechanism.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine.
2. Uncover heads of cylinders and establish the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ a compression step (subsection 3.1.3 see). Cylinder valves should rock freely.
3. Measure probeом backlashes in valves specified in illustrations. Щуп should pass between коромыслом and a valve core under small effort.
4. If the backlash differs from norm turn away a counternut and, rotating a screw-driver the screw, establish the necessary backlash.
5. Keeping the screw a screw-driver, tighten a counternut and again check up a backlash.
6. Put labels on a pulley коленвала and on a forward cover. Turn коленвал on 1 turn before coincidence of labels, measure and if necessary adjust backlashes in the valves specified in illustrations.
7. Establish all removed details.
