The system of electronic ignition includes the ignition lock, the battery, the block of electronic ignition, the Hall gauge (1980-87) or the induction gauge (with 1988г.), the coil of ignition, a wire of a low-voltage (primary) chain and a high-voltage (secondary) chain, the ignition and candle distributor.

On cars since 1988 management of work of system of ignition is provided or the separate processor block (ЕСU - the block), or the processor block of engine ECM.

The processor block provides automatic adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition according to signals from gauges which trace various parametres of the engine (such as number of turns, volume of sucked in air, temperature of a cooling liquid, etc.). Such system is called as system of ignition with electronic control by the moment of ignition (system ESA).

On considered cars the ignition coil is mounted separately from the distributor.

Cars are equipped 1980-87 centrifugal and vacuum by regulators of an advancing of ignition. The electronic switchboard of ignition is mounted on the coil case. The gauge of signals on effect of the Hall is built in the distributor on a breaker plate with which the rod of a vacuum regulator (see fig. the Scheme of ignition of cars 1980-87) is rigidly connected.

Cars are equipped 1988-92 by automatic system of an advancing of ignition ESA on the basis of the induction gauge (fig. the Scheme of ignition of cars see 1988-92). The electronic switchboard of ignition is mounted on the coil case.

The system of ignition of cars since 1993 is similar to system of cars 1988-92 behind that exception that in the induction gauge the additional winding with pair conclusions G1 and G2 (fig. the Scheme of ignition of cars of 1993 see) is provided.

At performance of checks and repair of system of ignition it is necessary to observe following safety rules (except specified above).

Connect a tachometre according to the instruction of the manufacturer. Tachometres of some types are incompatible with system of an electric equipment of the car. Before tachometre acquisition consult in car-care centre.

Do not suppose a contact of conclusions of the coil of ignition with weight. Otherwise failure of the electronic block and the coil is possible.

Constantly watch that the electronic block has been reliably connected to weight.
