The prevention

Generators of considered cars differ only configuration of a regulator of pressure.


1. Remove the generator.
2. Turn away a nut of a back cover (a photo at the left), a nut of a conclusion of the generator, remove изоляционную the plug and a back cover (a photo on the right).
3. Turn away five screws of fastening of a regulator of pressure and щеткодержателя (are specified by arrows).
4. Remove a pressure regulator.
5. Remove щеткодержатель. If you are limited only to replacement of a regulator of pressure will perform works agree item 9, establish a new regulator, collect the generator and establish on the engine. If brushes be guided by following point of the description vary.
6. Measure length of an acting part of brushes. If length of a brush less maximum permissible щеткодержатель in gathering with brushes replace. On some cars replacement only brushes by them перепаивания is provided.
7. Be convinced that brushes freely move in щеткодержателе.
8. Remove the rectifier (screws of fastening of the rectifier are specified by arrows). Remove four rubber buffers and грязеотражатель.
9. Put labels of mutual orientation of forward and back covers to facilitate assemblage.
10. Turn away a nut of fastening of a pulley on a rotor and remove a pulley.
11. Turn away four nuts of fastening of a forward cover to a back flange, disconnect a back flange from a cover.
12. Remove a persistent washer and get from a forward cover a rotor.

Check of a condition of details

1. Check up resistance of a chain between two contact rings (the photo on the right) which should be within 2–4 Ohm. Check up a chain between shaft of a rotor and contact rings (a photo at the left). The ohmmeter should show infinite resistance. If results of both checks unsatisfactory, or in case of the strengthened deterioration of rings, a rotor replace.
2. Check up resistance between winding conclusions статора. If resistance is great, or the ohmmeter shows breakage статор is subject to replacement. Check up short circuit of windings статора on the case (core). If between conclusions статора and the case the ohmmeter shows final resistance статор it is faulty.
3. Check up diodes of positive and negative branches of the bridge of the rectifier.
4. At first check up diodes of a positive branch выпрямительного the bridge for what positive probe an ohmmeter put to выводному to the probe, and negative probe – to any of specified in illustrations to a conclusion of diodes (a photo at the left). Then change probeы in places and concern the same conclusions (a photo on the right).
5. At the first connection the ohmmeter should show the closed chain, and at other – chain rupture. Similarly check up resistance and between other conclusions. If at least one of diodes does not maintain tests диодная the branch is considered faulty (1 – rectifier conclusions, 2 – a positive conclusion).
6. Now check up diodes of a negative branch выпрямительного the bridge for what negative probe an ohmmeter put to a negative conclusion (1), and positive probe – to any of rectifier conclusions. Then change probeы in places and concern the same conclusions. At the first connection the ohmmeter should show chain rupture, and at other – the closed chain. Similarly check up resistance between other conclusions.
7. If at least one of diodes does not maintain tests диодная the branch is considered faulty.


1. Assemblage is carried out upside-down, at observance of following rules.
2. At an establishment щеткодержателя on a rotor wring out brushes a small screw-driver.
3. Screw screws of fastening of a regulator of pressure and щеткодержателя.
4. Establish a back cover and tighten nuts.
5. Establish изоляционную the probe plug, tighten a nut.
6. Establish the generator.
