3.1. Engines 2F and 3F-E

THE GENERAL DATA

In the present subsection kinds of repair of 6-cylinder single-row engines 2F and 3F-E without dismantle from the car are described. Engines of so-called type "pushrod" (with "a remote" drive of a cam-shaft), with a drive of a cam-shaft from pair gear wheels.

The cam-shaft operates valves through a chain a cam-pusher-bar-koromyslo. Engines of considered types were established on cars Toyota Land Cruiser with 1980 for 1992 (2F it was established in 1980-87, 3F-E – in 1987-92). In engines 3F-E diameter of cylinders same, as in engines 2F, but the piston stroke is slightly less.
