7.2.4. System of fixing of the selector

THE GENERAL DATA

Arrangement of knots of system of fixing of the selector

1. The solenoid of blocking of a key 2. The solenoid of blocking of the selector 3. The block of management of the selector

4. The switch of blocking of the selector 5. The switch of a signal of braking

The system provides selector fixing in positions Park or Neutral at the pressed pedal of a brake. All works on service of system except described are carried out in car-care centre more low.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For access to system knots it is necessary to remove floor section. 2. Disconnect a socket and submit pressure from the battery on conclusions of the solenoid of blocking of the selector. If there is no characteristic click the solenoid replace. 3. Disconnect a socket of the solenoid of blocking of a key and check up resistance between conclusions 1и 5 (fig. at the left – for а/м 1991-95 гг), between conclusions 7 and 8 (fig. on the right – for а/м since 1995) which should be 12–17 Ohm. 4. Disconnect a socket from the switch of blocking of the selector and check up resistance between the specified conclusions. 5. In selector Park position between conclusions Р and Р1 there should be a chain. 6. In position of selector Park and the pressed button between conclusions Р and Р1 and Р and Р2 there should be a chain. 7. In other positions of selector R, N, D, 2 and L between conclusions Р and Р2 should be a chain. 8. If results of checks differ, replace faulty details and repeat checks.
