3.4.5. The ignition coil
Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Remove a plastic cap of the coil (if it is provided).

3. Turn away two bolts of fastening of a socket of the coil and connect probeы an ohmmeter.

4. Measure resistance between positive and negative coil conclusions. Compare result to standard value.

5. Measure resistance of a secondary winding, i.e. between a positive conclusion of the coil and a high-voltage conclusion. Compare result to standard value.

6. If resistance differ from standard the ignition coil replace.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Remove from the coil the thermal screen.

3. Designate and disconnect from the wire coil.

4. Turn away fastening screws (are shown by arrows) and remove the coil.

5. The coil is established upside-down.
