11.11. The screen wiper electric motor

The prevention

Before check performance find an arrangement of corresponding wires, using the scheme (subsection 12.22 see). Keep in mind that power wires (connected to the battery) have brighter colouring and больший diameter rather than wires of connection with weight.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At too slowed down course of brushes check up a battery condition. If the battery is completely charged, remove the screen wiper electric motor (see more low) and check up by hand freedom of moving of brushes. If necessary grease all шарнирные connections or repair. If this measure does not give result check up a condition of contacts, especially connections with weight. If all connections in a normal state the electric motor replace. 2. If the screen wiper does not work, check up a safety lock. If the safety lock is serviceable, connect the electric motor to weight a separate crosspiece. If the electric motor joins, repair connection with weight. Otherwise include a screen wiper and disconnect an electric motor socket. Check up pressure presence on the electric motor. If pressure is, check up the electric motor, having connected it to the battery through a thin delay. If the electric motor joins, check up freedom of moving of draught. Otherwise replace the electric motor. In the absence of pressure on the electric motor check up pressure on the switch. If there is no pressure on the switch check up conducting from a safety lock to the switch. If conducting is serviceable, the switch is faulty. 3. If brushes work only on one speed check up conducting. If conducting is serviceable replace the switch. 4. If frequency of work of brushes is not regulated, check up conducting between the electric motor and the switch. If conducting is serviceable, replace the regulator module. 5. If brushes do not come back in the parked position at deenergizing check up pressure on the electric motor at the included ignition and the switched off cleaner. If pressure is available, the trailer switch in the electric motor is faulty. Replace the electric motor. If pressure is not present, check up and repair conducting between a safety lock and the electric motor. 6. If brushes continue to work until then ignition disconnect a socket from the switch will not be switched off yet. If brushes stop, replace the switch. Otherwise the trailer switch in the electric motor is faulty. Replace the electric motor. 7. If brushes come into area below a cowl edge check up a condition of draughts and all mechanism of a cleaner. If the mechanism is serviceable, check up conducting between the electric motor and the switch. If conducting is serviceable, replace the electric motor. 8. If results this checks negative the electric motor replace.

Replacement

REPLACEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR OF THE FORWARD SCREEN WIPER

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn away fastening bolts (are specified by arrows) and raise the screen wiper electric motor. 2. Turn away a nut of a shaft from the back party of the electric motor. 3. Disconnect a socket and get the electric motor. 4. Installation is carried out upside-down.

REPLACEMENT OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR OF THE BACK SCREEN WIPER

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Uncover лючка and turn away a nut of fastening of the lever of a brush. Remove the lever from a shaft. 2. Turn away a shaft nut. 3. Open a back cover and remove the internal handle, an overlay of the bottom door and a cover лючка. 4. Disconnect an electric motor socket. 5. Turn away fastening bolts (are specified by arrows) the electric motor of a back screen wiper and remove the electric motor in gathering with draughts. 6. Installation is carried out upside-down.
